Associate Corporate Counsel Duties: The candidate will be serving as the primary attorney for several internal services and working with internal business clients to advise on challenging legal issues related to the development of these services. Will be involved in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements (including hosted services agreements, software licensing agreements, implementation agreements, services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other commercial contracts), as well as helping to simplify existing contracting processes. Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies, and overseeing regulatory and contractual compliance.
Required Qualifications: A Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admitted to at least one State Bar (or equivalent). 2+ years of legal experience. Experience with IP licensing and technology transactions, data privacy, telecom regulations, cloud computing, or enterprise software. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience at a national or international law firm. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. In-house experience at a technology company. Sound and practical business judgment as well as common sense.
