Contracts Attorney

Contracts Attorney Duties: Draft, review, negotiate and complete a wide variety of contracts, including end user, reseller, and vendor agreements. Work with proposal services team to review legal terms in requests for proposals from prospective customers. Work with other Legal team members to improve existing templates and create new templates and negotiated terms to be used by all members of the Legal department. Participate in projects related to contract processes and post-contract execution compliance. Participate in contract-related due diligence in support of acquisitions activities. Coordinate with contract administrators for review of all assigned contracts. Work with business stakeholders to determine business terms of contracts and ensure such business terms are accurately reflected in contract documents. Advice and guide business teams to ensure post-execution contract compliance. Provide training to other Legal team members and the business on contract terms and best practices. Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including, the Systems Security Policy. Qualifications: Juris Doctor Degree (or equivalent) and active law license in Ohio or other applicable jurisdiction. Attention to detail, strong administrative skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong analytical skills, including learning and developing the ability to evaluate moderately complex contractual issues. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct legal research, gather and compile information, draft commercial contracts and prepare memoranda and other legal communications related to routine contract matters. Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Word and Excel Ability to learn and develop strong negotiation skills. Ability to learn and develop excellent communication skills in writing and speech.
