Attorney - Parametric (Legal and Compliance) Duties: Work closely with legal, investment and business development professionals to draft and negotiate contracts such as investment management agreements and derivatives related agreements. Collaborate with other attorneys within's Legal and Compliance Division on a wide range of legal matters related to the investment management industry. Work side-by-side with business partners to support Parametric products, clients, and initiatives Assist other legal team members and the Parametric business team with matters relating to private investment funds. Other related projects as requested.
Qualifications: JD Degree and 3-6 years related experience at a law firm or financial services company. Demonstrated experience drafting a range of complex agreements. Knowledge of some or all of the following: Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Commodity Exchange Act, National Futures Association rules, Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Dodd-Frank Act, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. Ability to analyze and solve problems and achieve results using sound judgment. Ability to work as a member of a team, and to build productive relationships with a broad set of legal and business partners. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which may involve handling many tasks simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with futures, options and/or OTC derivatives a plus.
