Senior Corporate Counsel RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Assistant General Counsel and Aesthetic Regional General Counsels to coordinate the delivery of legal services globally to support the implementation of Global Aesthetic marketing strategies and priorities. Provide legal counsel to Management of Global Aesthetic functions including Global Strategic Marketing, Global Regulatory and Safety, Global Medical Affairs and R&D on day-to-day legal matters and long-term strategies and programs. Work with Global Marketing teams to implement and mitigate risk in the design and roll out of global drug and device marketing campaigns, including social media and celebrity campaigns. Review and negotiate vendor, consulting, global intercompany agreements including regulatory and quality agreements. Review and negotiate and global clinical trial agreements. Counsel Aesthetics Global Communications team on specific communications and tactics, including social media in support of key initiatives of Global Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, and R&D. Counsel Global Medical Affairs on scientific exchange matters including meetings, product information requests and publications. Counsel on overall legal risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with Aesthetics Global Compliance and the Regional General Counsels/Chief Compliance Officers. Advice on corporate governance and formalities and prepare/supervise the preparation of corporate documents; assist the Regional General Counsels as needed consistent with global corporate structure and to further compliance with global governance policies and requirements. Work with Assistant General Counsel to identify opportunities for continuously improving the effectiveness of the global legal function including, for example, client training; client self-services; systems/technology upgrades; management reports; and consistent global legal best practices. Assist in the preparation of the Global Department budgeting and planning.

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctor of Juristic Science or better. Should have 6-8 years overall legal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department settings; at least 3 years must be in the legal department of a pharmaceutical or medical device company with an emphasis on general business law and regulation of pharmaceuticals/devices. Product or device marketing/promotion review experience. Experience in developing policies and procedures. Experience with clinical trial agreements. Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex issues and devise solutions and problem-solving strategies. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively in an organization and with management. Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills. The ability to think creatively in a heavily regulated environment and handle multiple complex matters.
