Corporate Counsel Duties: Support business units across the company, assisting stakeholders with a vast array of legal needs. Help develop new and improved processes and procedures to ensure that Cardlytics Legal and Compliance department is efficient, organized, and world-class. Promote the Legal and Compliance Department's vision across the company, ensuring that our legal obligations are met, and the company is protected in every facet. Use legal brain to identify solutions to complex problems. Help navigate rapidly developing data privacy legislation to ensure that the company's contracts, policies, and procedures remain ahead of the curve.
Qualifications: Should have 3 years of legal experience dealing with complex legal issues and time spent at a top law firm, with experience in privacy and cybersecurity being a plus. Understanding complex business and technical concepts and consistently demonstrating good judgment when faced with difficult trade-offs. Sizing up a legal document and spotting the issues, whether a simple sales contract or a multi-million-dollar agreement that will change the trajectory of the company. Influencing decisions at all levels and have a demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and teams on a common solution
