Associate General Counsel - Financial Compliance

Associate General Counsel - Financial Compliance The candidate will look at all areas of our business to understand the whole picture. Subject matter expertise in many compliance areas impacting business verticals and experience owning and maintaining compliance policies. Conduct diligence, identify compliance obligations, with the help of legal operations members build dashboards and reporting, help navigate the best course. Should have 5+ years of experience providing support and strategic advice on a wide range of regulatory matters relating to financial products (Credit Cards / Card Act / Reg Z / Reg E / Consumer Lending). Experience with the acquisition of required licenses for secured and unsecured credit card and lending products. Experience designing and implementing compliance management systems, including policies and procedures, compliance training, and compliance testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with cross-functional business partners. Can lead and organize company-wide processes while executing on key deliverables. Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time-sensitive manner. Juris Doctorate and admission to at least one State Bar, but bonus have experience with regulatory engagements across multiple business verticals and various regulatory issues, and with international expansion in regulated areas. Also, a plus if you have experience with privacy and security, tax, consumer protection, regulation, operations, content moderation, government access to data, and government investigations.
