Senior Cybersecurity And Privacy Counsel

Senior Cybersecurity and Privacy Counsel The candidate will be ensuring that cybersecurity and privacy are embedded throughout Apple s vendor and supplier trust programs. Providing legal support to teams assessing cybersecurity practices and requirements, including supplier cybersecurity programs. Drafting and negotiating data protection and cybersecurity agreements. Assisting with inquiries from suppliers regarding privacy and security requirements. Responding to security incidents. Should be a JD, and admitted to at least one US state Bar. Should have 5-9 years of experience as an attorney focusing on cybersecurity and privacy law or compliance, or another related field. Experience counseling on cybersecurity legal issues, including incident response. In-house experience is a plus. Operational experience developing privacy or vendor management programs is a plus. Must have knowledge and experience counseling on GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy legal and regulatory frameworks. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and exceptional written and verbal skills. Must have proven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the company, sound business judgment, and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change. Must have the ability, in a positive, commercial, and practical manner, to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
