Director & Counsel - Real Estate Law Responsibilities: Providing legal support to GREWE. Negotiating commercial leases, including with state and local government agencies. Negotiating other commercial real estate-related transactions (e.g., estoppel certificates, amendments, lease commencement date agreements, lease terminations). Negotiating operating agreements with hospitality management companies. Helping resolve disputes arising from commercial leases and operating agreements. Advising regarding other commercial real estate-related issues.
Minimum Qualifications: J.D. with admission to practice law in the United States. 4-6 years of work experience involving real estate transactions in a law firm and/or in-house corporate legal environment. Highly collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively. Able to drive resolution of ambiguous issues. Organized, independent, and capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in resolving disputes arising from commercial leases. Experience negotiating with state and local government agencies and in financial services.
