Associate Corporate Counsel, Global Trade, Global Trade Legal Duties: Counsel businesses on a broad range of regulatory and commercial matters, with a focus on regulations governing imports and exports in North America. Provide day-to-day advice on trade regulations, and advise on emerging regulatory and enforcement trends to help shape Amazon's trade compliance policies and programs. Advise on product compliance requirements enforced at the border (e.g., PGA flags). Partner with retail, compliance, and logistics professionals to build and improve compliance policies, procedures and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic credentials, including a degree from an accredited law school. Membership in good standing in at least one state or foreign Bar. 2-4 years of post-admission legal experience, with some portion of that experience at a law firm. Experience advising on internal controls related to import/export compliance. Strong written and oral communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in import/export matters under non-U.S. legal regimes. Experience in import/export matters for e-commerce or other types of retailers. Experience in product compliance requirements enforced at the border.
