Associate Director, Litigation and Investigations Attorney

Associate Director, Litigation and Investigations Attorney Duties: The candidate will act as a confidential and impartial source to conduct internal policy violation investigations globally, and work with the compliance organization and the business to implement any necessary individual and organizational remediation in response to such investigations. Manage a litigation portfolio comprised initially of labor and employment litigation and eventually assist with management of a mix of commercial and product liability litigation.

Qualifications: A JD is required. Should have 3 or more years of relevant experience in investigations and/or labor and employment litigation in a government, law firm, or corporate setting. Experience with witness interviews and/or depositions. Superior ability to analyze complex legal, and business issues. Outstanding writing and communication skills. Teamwork-oriented attitude. Proven initiative and ability to manage outside counsel effectively and efficiently. Consistent with applicable budgets. Demonstrated ability to evaluate risks and exercise excellent legal judgment. Team-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Solution-oriented approach to legal issues. Maintain up-to-date understanding of litigation/investigations and the law applicable to the same. Experience managing a significant workload, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Experience working in or representing clients in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus.
