Energy - Associate General Counsel The candidate will supervise paralegal review, negotiation and execution of master agreements, including ISDAs with gas and power annexes and NAESBs. Lead the drafting and negotiation of bespoke confirm on tight timelines. Develop and maintain contract review guidelines and templates based on business input. Assist Credit and Legal teams with documentation relating to guarantees and letters of credit as needed. Manage workflow of other commercial agreements, including pipeline agreements, storage agreements, confidentiality agreements and vendor agreements. Assist with other corporate matters outside of the energy business, including other commercial contracts and transactional matters in the field of derivatives trading, technology, digital assets and venture capital. Should have a degree from an accredited law school and admission to a State Bar. Should have 5+ years of legal experience in the energy trading industry. Focus and expertise in the energy trading field, but willingness to expand skill set to other areas of the firm outside of energy trading desks. Excellent drafting skills. Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the firm.
