Senior Counsel, Commercial Litigation

Senior Counsel, Commercial Litigation Responsibilities: Responsible for company representation in all aspects of commercial litigation (excluding patent litigation), including antitrust litigation, contractual disputes, securities litigation, employment litigation, product liability and government investigations. Responsibilities include the development and assertion of claims and defenses, management of outside counsel, case strategy and written submissions. Development of claims and defenses in litigation and ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Collaborate with members of the relevant regional legal team to coordinate litigation strategy. Manage substantial docket of United States litigation. Manage all aspects of outside counsel services, including work product, budgets, and invoices. Prepare materials and present to the business and senior management as appropriate. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate is required. Licensed to practice law in PA or be eligible for licensure as a registered in-house counsel is preferred. Should have 10 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm and/or in-house, including experience or familiarity with biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and/or healthcare preferred. Related experience/education may also be considered. Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities. Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required. Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels of the organization.
