Associate General Counsel & Compliance Officer The candidate will report to the Chief Legal Offer and the Board of Directors to deliver a wide range of in-house legal and compliance services for our 17 practice and program service sites in 3 Maine counties. Will serve on PCHC's Senior Leadership Team and provide oversight, guidance, and support to management, staff, the Board of Directors, and more. Will inspire, challenge, guide, mentor, and effectively collaborate at all levels of the organization. Should have 3 years of relevant legal experience and knowledge of compliance related laws, regulations and emerging issues in the health care industry. Should have a Juris Doctor (JD) and are either currently licensed to practice law in the State of Maine or can obtain admission within 12 months of hire. Note that a strong preference will be given to attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Maine and in good standing at the time of hire. Should have a Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or can obtain certification within 12 months of hire. Demonstrate a record of success in effectively implementing a corporate compliance program.
