Corporate Legal Counsel Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client advisory agreements. Developing standard documents and forms related to client contracting and onboarding, compliance, and other matters on an as-needed basis. Assisting institutional business with legal requests, RFPs, and production of records. Providing additional legal support and counsel to business groups across the firm. Participating in firm initiatives relating to client contracting or other legal matters. Communicate clearly and accurately across various levels.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice and in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction. Should have 5+ years of the law firm or in-house experience. Knowledge of the investment advisory industry; particularly institutional practices is preferred. Knowledge of ERISA and applicable DOL rules is desired.
