Corporate Counsel The candidate will serve as primary legal contact for commercial teams operating in one or more markets. Serve as primary legal contact for Purchasing function in North America. Draft, negotiate, and finalize a wide variety of commercial agreements. Independently manage complex negotiations regarding a broad spectrum of matters. Engage directly with senior management with little or no supervision. Assist with additional tasks and projects as required. Should have a J.D. degree and membership in good standing in at least one State Bar. Should have 3 years of law practice, either in-house or at a reputable law firm. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Broad and consistent experience drafting and negotiating business agreements. Proven ability to independently manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects. Quick learner and willing to take on new tasks as needed. Sound and practical business judgment and a keen interest in deeply understanding the business. Consistent, responsive, high-quality legal service in a dynamic business environment. Experience using Google Suite and contract management software a plus. Limited travel possible (less than 15 days per year).
