Managing Counsel, Labor & Employment The candidate will partner with the Human Resources organization and other internal clients to implement policies and practices supporting compliance to those laws and regulations. Will provide day-to-day practical advice and counseling regarding labor and employment issues, including but not limited to those relating to leaves of absence, disability accommodation, wage and hour, separation agreements, immigration, affirmative action plans, and employment matters in connection with M&A. Responsible for keeping apprised of changes in labor and employment laws that impact the organization and lead proactive, continuous improvement efforts in that regard, and provide foundational legal training to Human Resources and other business stakeholders. Additional responsibilities as needed.

The candidate should have a JD from an accredited law school, a valid law license in an appropriate jurisdiction. Must have 8+ years of relevant legal experience at either a law firm or as in-house counsel. In good standing with state bar with no disciplinary record is required. Experience in employee compliance matters is preferred.
