Corporate General Counsel Responsibilities: Provide advice and counsel to various internal functions and draft, edit, negotiate, review and interpret complex commercial agreements spanning across all functions within the company. Perform due diligence review, negotiation and documentation of mergers and acquisitions and key strategic transactions, as needed. Provide the administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships. Administer the management of the company's legal structure, including organizing and dissolving entities and providing ongoing compliance with local legal requirements and best practices. Manage the development and implementation of legal strategies. Provide timely advice and counsel to senior management by advising the business on laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify, lead and participate in legal and contract training, including preparation and presentation of training materials to various departments and functions. Manage outside counsel. May supervise legal support staff.

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited law school. Must be admitted into and a member in good standing of the Ohio Bar. Should have 5 years of experience as an attorney in business law within a law firm and/or in-house setting. Experience in manufacturing industries preferred. Possess experience with, or be capable and willing to develop experience, in various other areas of law, including but not limited to, real estate, banking, litigation, human resources and employment, information technology and privacy, and applicable regulatory law. Advanced writing, comprehensive reading, communication, and research skills are required. =Electronic-based legal research experience is required. Proficiency with MS Office required.
