Corporate Counsel II The candidate will manage all litigation matters for the Company, including coordinating document productions between internal staff and outside. Develop, coordinate and prepare the collection, review and production of documents and respond to written discovery requests, including coordinating e-discovery searches and document productions. Supervise e-discovery vendors and work with Company's IT Department to collect documents requested in litigation. Interact with all Company departments regarding litigation matters and perform document review, production and fact investigation. Manage subpoena responses - responsible for receipt of service, document collection and circulation of the service of process. Prepare legal correspondence and other documents. Prepare and manage litigation hold notices, distribute notices to internal business partners and preserve evidence in litigation. Ensure all legal files are up-to-date, organized, and properly stored in relation to all ongoing document retention policies and legal hold notices. Evaluate relevant documents to provide a detailed summary based on search results. Schedule and attend conference calls and keep the General Counsel apprised of important deadlines and case updates. Assist with any other litigation-related duties as assigned. Provide day-to-day legal counseling on general corporate matters. Interact and collaborate with a variety of departments within the Company at all levels, including upper management. Review, draft and/or negotiate a large variety of legal documents and commercial contracts including a variety of services and vendor contracts, manufacturing and/or supply contracts, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, and distribution and licensing agreements. Partner with internal departments to negotiate and execute contracts with external vendors. Manage the contract review process. Should have a JD degree from an Accredited Law School. Admission to and good standing with the bar of at least one state or the District of Colombia. Should have 5+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house setting, preferably with experience in litigation and general corporate matters.
