Corporate Counsel The candidate will be advising management and business units on various legal issues, including state laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Providing legal support and advice based on relevant expertise (transactional, securities, privacy, labor, real estate, technology, etc.). Drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts. Other projects were assigned by Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Juris Doctorate is required. Should have 4+ years of progressive legal experience with a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house at a company. A corporate, public company, transactional or commercial contracts experience is preferred. Knowledge of racing and/or gaming industry helpful. Must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, eligible for reciprocity or otherwise eligible to obtain a limited certificate of admission to practice law/ Attention to detail and accuracy; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and independently; ability to establish credibility and provide solutions; and ability to provide real-time advice on business and legal issues. Must have a proven track record of direct client contact.
