Director, Corporate Counsel - Litigation The candidate will be responsible for leading and handling internal and government investigations on the Company's behalf. Will work with the VP, Global IP, Litigation, and Employment Law to create and/or improve existing litigation processes, formulate and execute effective strategies to sustain excellence, reduce risks, and apply consistency throughout the Company's litigation function. Must exercise initiative and possess strong business acumen, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage personnel across all levels of the Company. Leading and managing various claims and litigation matters, including internal and government investigations for the Company. Analyzing, developing, and delivering litigation and dispute resolution strategies in line with Amneal's business requirements to reduce risks. Ensuring that services are timely, targeted, and of the highest quality. Facilitating and coordinating the production of discovery documents and electronically stored information, including remaining current on the use of electronic discovery services and other litigation tools to efficiently manage claims and cases. Serving as a liaison between internal business personnel and external counsel for purposes of defending and/or prosecuting litigation including witness preparation and background investigations. supervising outside counsel in handling litigation. Monitoring legislative developments and trends and, as a result, proactively helping to shape Amneal's litigation function and litigation governance. Enhancing the legal department's effectiveness through active participation in staff meetings and training, and maintaining positive interaction with corporate and business clients. Manage significant litigation budgets and drive efficiencies in external legal spending and relationships. Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school and licensed to practice in New Jersey (or willing to obtain an in-house limited license). Should have Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS). Should have 5-7 years of experience as an attorney with a mix of top law firm experience and/or as an in-house counsel in a publicly-traded corporation (preferably a pharmaceutical company). Should have advanced experience handling complex litigation in all forums, including trial experience. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to convert complex legal concepts into useful business guidance. Should have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive legal matters, analyze a situation, identify issues and propose practical solutions; ability to travel on occasion as the business necessitates; JD from a nationally recognized law school and licensed to practice in New Jersey (or willing to obtain an in-house limited license).
