Senior Tax Counsel The candidate' will have responsibility for tax planning and research, analyzing tax legislative/regulatory developments, and modelling impacts on U.S. federal domestic tax issues (including partnership tax) and U.S. outbound international tax issues (including OECD BEPS). You will have significant interface with tax management, tax compliance groups, and other tax planners; may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement. Responsibilities may include: Tax planning and research, analyzing tax legislative/regulatory developments, and modeling impacts on U.S. domestic tax issues (including partnership tax) and U.S. outbound international tax issues (including OECD BEPS); Provide support on U.S. and cross-border tax controversies; Develop strong working relationships with other tax planners, tax compliance groups, and assigned non-tax functions; provide tax technical support as needed on various tax matters, including restructurings, acquisitions, and dispositions. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee; Should have Juris Doctorate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association or foreign equivalent; Admission to the Bar of the State of Texas or other appropriate jurisdiction; Should have 7+ years of combined U.S. domestic and U.S. outbound international tax issues in the following areas.
