Senior Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management Regulatory Compliance*

Senior Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management - Regulatory Compliance Duties: The candidate will be strategically managing complex environmental legal issues surrounding critical business issues, including supervising outside counsel and consultants and carefully managing budgets. Proactively advising business and Legal Affairs colleagues regarding environmental compliance and global company risk. Partnering with business and specialist lawyers to mitigate risk. Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the global team.

Qualifications: Should have a Juris Doctor degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited Law school. Should have 6 years of environmental law practice in a private, public, government, or military environment. Experience serving as in-house counsel focusing on environmental matters. Product liability experience. Experience managing or coordinating large teams. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including business leaders, department leaders, and director-level management. Long-term, strategic, and practical thinker. Self-starter with the ability to triage and manage time-sensitive matters simultaneously and effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate transparently, efficiently, and effectively at all levels within a team environment. Honesty and unwavering integrity. Sense of humor, curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvement. Currently admitted to practice law in relevant jurisdictions or eligible to become so within 6 months. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
