Corporate Counsel for Global Healthcare Organization The candidate participates in the development of corporate legal policies and procedures and provides continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and the legal implications of all matters. Provides general legal support to the human resources team on various employment law matters, including hiring, performance management, termination, accommodation, harassment and discrimination, and related litigation matters. Responsible for analyzing all customer agreements, vendor agreements and other critical contracts and provides legal advice on same to ensure the company conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Reviews and advises on commercial Pharma Division agreements and arrangements. A J.D. Degree from an accredited U.S. law school; current admitted to a State Bar. Should have 3+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably in healthcare and/or corporate law in a law firm before moving to an in-house position. Exposure to or familiarity with the following areas of law: litigation, commercial contracting, corporate transactions, health care and laws and regulations. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
