Senior Corporate Counsel - Litigation The candidate will manage commercial litigation matters and disputes, from beginning to end. Manage aspects of regulatory investigation matters in coordination with relevant stakeholders within Amazon. Build relationships with members of the Amazon legal teams. Perform pre-publication review of original content and advise on issues of First Amendment, copyright, IP, defamation, privacy, and right-of-publicity. Work with relevant Audible stakeholders to advance efforts to safeguard and protect various IP interests and rights. A Juris Doctor from a respected law school and admission to at least one U.S. State Bar. Should have 10+ years of litigation experience - at a law firm, company or other Audible-sized organization. The highest standards of ethics and professional integrity. Specific and meaningful experience advising and counseling clients on media, First Amendment, copyright, trademark, defamation, and right-of-publicity issues. Demonstrated leadership responsibility involving complex business litigation, including counseling parties and witnesses in a variety of pre-dispute and dispute resolution contexts. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Sound and practical business judgment combined with strong common sense. Curiosity and creativity. People management experience.
