Associate Corporate Counsel, Security Legal The candidate will primarily support Firms Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Firms.com. Will be an integral part of the firm's Security team to support, giving input on business and strategy. Provide legal counsel on regulatory matters and commercial deals, particularly as it relates to healthcare compliance. Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. Also will provide support for Firms' global legal and security compliance, audit, and certification programs, as well as other security operations matters.
The candidate should have Juris Doctor (JD) and admit to at least 1 State Bar (or equivalent). Must have 3+ years of legal experience, preferably with technology-related legal and regulatory matters. A mix of law firm and in-house experience at a technology company is preferred. Experience with compliance and regulatory regimes, and preferably healthcare is desired. Strong written and oral communication skills plus. Demonstrated ability to make important decisions on emerging issues, often with limited information is desired. Experience anticipating developing issues, thinking ahead, and influencing internal and external stakeholders is preferred.
