Compliance Counsel The candidate will provide legal and practical guidance and support to management and consultants in compliance areas including Medicaid regulations, GDPR, and state privacy laws. Will take a lead role in compliance investigations and monitoring activities, working with other company departments. Stay current on applicable laws and regulations. Advise on company policies. Manage outside counsel in administrative matters and in litigation. Draft and review contracts with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, vendors, and others. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
The candidate should have a Law degree and a Bar membership. Must have 7 years of relevant experience as an attorney. Experience that reflects the diverse responsibilities of the position is required. In-house experience preferred. Specialized knowledge and experience in employment law and contract law are needed. Must have specialized knowledge and experience in applicable compliance areas and contract law.
