Corporate Counsel II The candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and day-to-day contracting needs for their assigned business unit and various other transactional projects. This position serves as the primary point of contact for business clients and drafts, negotiates, reviews and approves (within specified guidelines) agreements, transactional documents, licensing agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements and various other documents. Additional responsibilities may include conducting training sessions for business units on relevant legal matters, and counseling business teams on regulatory compliance with an emphasis on healthcare regulations. Work independently on moderately complex legal matters with limited direction and assumes ownership of day-to-day assignments and provide support on projects. Should have 4+ years of experience. Analytical Reasoning, Drafting Legal Documents, Organization and Time Management. A Juris Doctorate is required. North Carolina bar member. Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law. Have demonstrated the ability to work independently and accurately under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail. Top 25% of class preferred.
