Corporate Counsel Duties: Negotiate, review, and draft a variety of commercial contracts and templates, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts. Support employment compliance efforts in the US and abroad by reviewing and revising HR policies, monitoring and advising on compliance with wage and hour and related employment laws, and preparing employment-related agreements. Support and drive privacy and data protection initiatives globally (GDPR, CCPA, etc).
Qualifications: J.D. degree with admission to at least one State Bar. Should have 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with 2 years of experience working at an in-house legal department. Experience handling technology and software contracts and service level agreements. Experience working in the retail, hospitality, or food and beverage industries is highly desirable. International legal experience, a plus. Solid background handling a wide variety of contracts. Team-spirited attitude, no job is too big or too small. The ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many matters at once, and shift from one situation or task to another.
