Assistant General Counsel - Labor and Employment

Assistant General Counsel - Labor and Employment The candidate will partner with the Global People Team in counseling our corporate client on employment and labor matters across global jurisdictions, including North America, EU and APAC. Provide advice and develop strategy with senior leadership on company-wide initiatives affecting employees, including labor/employment aspects of M&A transactions. Lead employment law-related projects, including process reviews, new policy creation and implementation, and creation and delivery of training programs. Monitor legislation, regulations and case law relating to employment issues and provide proactive, strategic advice to relevant business partners. Provide legal support and guidance on Nasdaq diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. A J.D. and member in good standing with a State Bar. Approximately 6-12 years of legal experience, preferably a mix of law firm and in-house employment law practice. Onsite in Rockville, MD (2 days/week) or remotely from within the United States or Canada, with periodic travel to NYC and/or DC region for onsite meetings. Ability to engage in occasional travel (when COVID-safe) to other Nasdaq locations globally.
