Senior Transactions Counsel (Real Estate) Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate transactional documents. Lead in purchase and sales agreements to acquire and dispose of retail assets and advise property management regarding operations including easements management agreements and reciprocal agreements. May also be involved in other legal projects from time to time as needed.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited school of law and a member, in good standing, with the Ohio Bar Association or another State Bar association. Should have 5 years of experience practicing as a lawyer with an emphasis in commercial real estate law. In-house legal department experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skills required. Understanding of corporate law and compliance is preferred, as well as a demonstrated ability to work with and manage outside counsel.
