Litigation Staff Counsel The candidate will be assisting Attorneys with advice to internal client organizations regarding compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and policies. Assisting Attorneys with the representation of the Company in state and federal court. Conducting research and preparing research memoranda, drafting discovery, pleadings, and motions, reviewing documents, and other second-chair responsibilities. Contributing to cross-functional or departmental projects and teams. - Interfacing with SCE personnel to gather information pertaining to legal, technical, or other issues. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school is needed. Member of the California Bar is required. Strong academic credentials are preferred. Some legal work experience is needed. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is required.
