Compliance Counsel The candidate will drive company-wide compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsible for compliance-related questionnaires (including RFPs) for customers and partners. Remain up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations to analyze their applicability to the Family of Companies. Provide strategic and legal advice on a variety of regulatory issues. Work with various stakeholders to support and develop the regulatory compliance program. Work closely with the legal team. Assist in developing and updating internal regulatory compliance resources. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution. Active bar member in any state. Should have 5+ years of experience in the practice of law or a similar advisory position and 2+ years of experience in compliance-focused work. Membership in the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics is preferred. CCEP certification is preferred Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sound and practical business judgment and ability to manage multiple, high and competing priorities and include appropriate stakeholders when necessary. Ability to provide clear, concise legal advice, and work effectively to drive to results. Innate curiosity, desire and ability to learn rapidly.
