Intellectual Property Attorney Duties: The candidate will support Research for university alliance agreements, joint development agreements, and all other Research transactional needs. Manage patent dockets, instruct outside counsel on the strategic decisions in preparation/prosecution and support internal clients on patent-related matters. Provide transactional support on patent-related transactions including patent licenses and patent assignments.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree is required. A Doctorate Degree is preferred. Should be experienced in negotiating patent-related agreements. Experience overseeing patent dockets. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience. Software background with experience in negotiating patent licenses. Experience in patent assignments. Experience with a university collaboration agreement. Required Technical and Professional Expertise.
