Compliance Attorney The candidate will draft, review, edit, and negotiate contracts of all types (master service agreements, project contracts, subcontracts, vendor contracts, etc.). Act as a liaison between clients and Practice Leaders/Project Managers. Work with satellite office personnel for contract review and other legal needs. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policies and procedures. Respond in a timely and professional manner to all inquiries from internal and external clients. Provide legal research on various topics as requested. Participate in special assignments as requested. A Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing. Should have 5 years of the federal government, law firm and/or in-house experience in at least one of the following areas: government contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, aerospace and defense, export control, or similar. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Able to work on multiple, simultaneous assignments, meeting priorities and deadlines for each. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. Self starter; willing and able to take initiative as needed.
