Employment Counsel The candidate will partner with the People, Product and Operations Teams and business owners to deliver the highest quality legal advice and strategic business guidance on a broad range of labor and employment matters in the United States. Will be delivering employee training on employment law, ethics and integrity, among other topics.
The candidate should have a Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to a State Bar. Must have 7+ years of employment law experience with a law firm or corporate legal department. The ability to work with department leaders, and compliance, to develop and implement internal policies is required. Must be a team player who acts with high integrity and professionalism. An interest in government relations and keeping up to date on proposed laws that may affect healthcare staffing companies is a plus. Should preferably have experience providing legal support and strategic advice on executive compensation programs, employee health and welfare plans, qualified and non-qualified plans, and ERISA-related matters. Providing day-to-day advice on a broad range of employment issues, including HR practices, performance management, terminations, recruiting, hiring, compensation and benefits, wage and hour, and labor relations, is a plus.
