They are looking for a Corporate Compliance Counsel to join their team and advise and provide compliance, legal and regulatory support to in-house clients concerning their business, products, and services. This is a remote opportunity and the successful candidate will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities: * Assist the Chief Compliance Counsel in implementing and enhancing Veradigm's compliance program. * Advise company personnel regarding compliance, legal and regulatory matters impacting the health IT sector, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, 21st Century Cures Act, information blocking compliance, HIPAA, etc. * Effectively partner with marketing, product, and other personnel across Veradigm to review and provide guidance on proposed advertising, product-related communications and issues, digital social media engagement, and scientific/research materials and other initiatives to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. * Draft/review, negotiate, and approve commercial transactions as needed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. * Develop new and enhance existing compliance-related policies and procedures. * Develop and deliver compliance and legal training to employees concerning a variety of topics. * Conduct investigations of alleged violations of laws, regulations, and company policies in close collaboration with other legal, HR, and/or internal audit personnel. * Identify compliance risk areas through a risk assessment process and other means and implement plans to resolve compliance issues. * Design and implement compliance monitoring and testing.
