Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney PwC is looking for a Director-level attorney to join the Office of General Counsel (OGC) and provide dedicated legal support in the area of labor and employment law. This role will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to global functional groups and stakeholders on legal matters relating to labor and employment law. Responsibilities - Provide legal support to global functional groups and stakeholders on matters relating to labor and employment law - Draft contracts and legal agreements - Retain files of prepared legal documents - Coordinate requests between internal and external counsel - Research background information related to legal issues - Advise on regulatory issues - Support the Firm s client contracting function - Advise on matters related to employees Qualifications - Juris Doctorate - 5+ years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment - Demonstrated thought leadership in leading or advising on complex employment investigations, managing outside legal counsel, providing guidance and expertise to develop policy, guidance and training, driving and taking ownership for developing connections, and influencing and facilitating the creation of long-term relationships - Ability to translate complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions - Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues - Ability to present labor law and related issues during large global meetings, trainings, and other presentations - Understanding of global issues and ability to operate in a global business Compensation For positions based in San Francisco, consideration of qualified candidates with arrest and conviction records will be in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
