Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney **Job Overview** The Global Office of General Counsel (OGC) Labor and Employment Attorney is a Director-level position that provides legal support to PwC's global functional groups in the areas of litigation, counseling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. This role will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for all labor and employment legal advice and guidance for PwC global functional groups, including Ethics & Compliance (for both counseling and investigations) and Human Capital and PwC s IT Services Co. **Responsibilities** - Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary. - Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realise their potential and support their long-term aspirations. - Identify gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions. - Look for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments. - Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart. - Promote and encourage others to value difference when working in diverse teams. - Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders. - Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm. - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. **Job Requirements & Preferences** - Juris Doctorate degree is required. - Minimum of 5 years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment. - Demonstrated thought leader-level abilities as a team leader. - Ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues. - Ability to translate complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions. - Ability to support stakeholders and leadership to build consensus on complex employment law and business issues. - Ability to present labor law and related issues during large global meetings, trainings, and other presentations. - Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive team and environment. - Ability to advise stakeholders and leaders on a wide range of labor law and employment-related matters. - Ability to understand global issues and operate in a global business. **Compensation & Benefits** Compensation and benefits vary by region. This role will provide legal support to PwC's global functional groups in the areas of litigation, counseling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. The OGC Labor and Employment Attorney will be responsible for researching background information related to legal issues and preparing legal documents, drafting contracts or legal agreements, retaining files of prepared legal documents, and coordinating requests between internal and external counsel. This role will also serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for all labor and employment legal advice and guidance for PwC global functional groups, including Ethics & Compliance (for both counseling and investigations) and Human Capital and PwC s IT Services Co. The OGC Labor and Employment Attorney will be expected to lead or advise on complex employment investigations of matters involving employee misconduct, manage outside legal counsel in employment investigations or litigation matters, provide guidance and expertise to develop policy, guidance and training around labor law issues, and advise and manage global and territory leadership on a wide range of advice and counseling for labor law issues and investigations. This role requires a Juris Doctorate degree and 5 years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, have the ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues, have the ability to translate complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions, and have the ability to foster a diverse and inclusive team and environment.
