**Corporate Counsel** Globus Medical is a fast-growing business continuously bringing the industry's most innovative new products to market. This position of Corporate Counsel is a critical member of the Legal Department, providing direct support to a variety of business functions, including business development, professional affairs, operations, and U.S. and international sales, as well as providing support as needed to other attorneys on a wide variety of matters. **Job Responsibilities** - Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, structuring and negotiating a range of commercial agreements and transactions including those involving customers, research, confidentiality, and other corporate agreements for domestic and international operations - Assisting in corporate development activities, including participation in due diligence - Working with business counterparts, both domestically and internationally, to identify and provide advice regarding legal risks and issues - Assisting senior members of the legal department with other legal needs of the company as necessary and contribute to the overall legal function - Developing a thorough understanding of and familiarity with the company's business, its people, products, technology, markets, facilities, customers and competitors in order to assist the company in meeting overall business objectives - Providing training and making presentations to company personnel regarding legal issues - Supervising non-lawyer staff and managing outside counsel as necessary - Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role - Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus **Job Requirements** - A record of outstanding academic achievement at the undergraduate and graduate levels - Admission to practice law in at least one state - strong preference for licensure in Pennsylvania - Minimum of 1-3 years of transactional and commercial contracting experience with a large law firm and/or in-house pharmaceutical or medical devices experience - Pragmatic judgment, particularly in determining the significance of legal matters and effectively measuring and balancing legal and business risks - Effective organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously - Strong, hands-on work ethic with willingness to assume heavy workload to meet timing and project needs - Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex legal issues to essential elements for clients throughout the organization with different abilities and responsibilities - Strong interpersonal skills, including optimism, diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel at many different levels throughout the company and with our customers and other business partners - Ability to delegate and supervise - Willingness to travel and to spend time at various company locations to understand our business and provide guidance and training **Compensation and Benefits** The compensation and benefits package for the Corporate Counsel position includes a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other benefits. **Join Us!** At Globus, we move with a sense of urgency to deliver innovations that improve the quality of life of patients, inspired by the surgeons and healthcare providers who treat them.
