# Job Summary Company is seeking an experienced Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney to join our Office of General Counsel team. This role will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for all labor and employment legal advice and guidance for Company global functional groups, including Ethics & Compliance (for both counseling and investigations) and Human Capital and Company's IT Services Co. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment, and demonstrate thought leader-level abilities as a team leader. # Responsibilities and Duties As a Director, the Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: * Leading or advising on complex employment investigations of matters involving employee misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflict of interest, and other violations of law or policy; * Managing outside legal counsel in employment investigations or litigation matters; * Providing guidance and expertise to develop policy, guidance and training around labor law issues, with sensitivity around cultural and Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) issues; * Demonstrating interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues; * Advising and managing global and territory leadership on a wide range of advice and counseling for labor law issues and investigations; * Translating complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions; * Supporting stakeholders and leadership to build consensus on complex employment law and business issues; * Presenting labor law and related issues during large global meetings, trainings, and other presentations; * Fostering a diverse and inclusive team and environment; * Advising stakeholders and leaders on a wide range of labor law and employment-related matters; and, * Understanding global issues and operating in a global business. # Qualifications and Skills Basic qualifications for this role include a Juris Doctorate and a minimum of 5 years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment. Preferred qualifications include: * Knowledge and experience leading or advising on complex employment investigations of matters involving employee misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflict of interest, and other violations of law or policy; * Knowledge and experience managing outside legal counsel in employment investigations or litigation matters; * Knowledge and experience providing guidance and expertise to develop policy, guidance and training around labor law issues, with sensitivity around cultural and Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) issues; * Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues; * Proven ability to advise and manage global and territory leadership on a wide range of advice and counseling for labor law issues and investigations; * Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions; * Proven ability to support stakeholders and leadership to build consensus on complex employment law and business issues; * Experience presenting labor law and related issues during large global meetings, trainings, and other presentations; * Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive team and environment; * Experience advising stakeholders and leaders on a wide range of labor law and employment-related matters; and, * Understanding of global issues and the ability to operate in a global business. # Salary and Benefits This is a full-time, regular position with a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
