# Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney ## Overview The Office of General Counsel (OGC) Labor and Employment Attorney is a key role within PwC's Internal Firm Services (IFS). The successful candidate will provide dedicated legal support in the areas of litigation, counselling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. This role will also be the point of contact and subject matter expert for all labor and employment legal advice and guidance for PwC global functional groups, including Ethics & Compliance (for both counseling and investigations) and Human Capital and PwC's IT Services Co. ## Responsibilities As a Global OGC E&C Labor and Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for: * Providing advice on regulatory issues and advising the firm on matters related to its operations * Supporting the firm's client contracting function * Advising on matters related to employees * Researching background information related to legal issues and preparing legal documents * Drafting contracts or legal agreements, retaining files of prepared legal documents, and coordinating requests between internal and external counsel * Disrupting, improving and evolving ways of working when necessary * Arranging and sponsoring appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations * Identifying gaps in the market and spotting opportunities to create value propositions * Looking for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments * Creating an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart * Promoting and encouraging others to value difference when working in diverse teams * Driving and taking ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders * Influencing and facilitating the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm * Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct ## Qualifications * Juris Doctorate * Five years of practicing employment law in a law firm, corporate or government environment * Thought leader-level abilities as a team leader * Ability to lead or advise on complex employment investigations of matters involving employee misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflict of interest, and other violations of law or policy * Ability to manage outside legal counsel in employment investigations or litigation matters * Ability to provide guidance and expertise to develop policy, guidance and training around labor law issues, with sensitivity around cultural and Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) issues * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to advise and influence global team members and member firm stakeholders and leaders with respect to cross-border issues * Ability to advise and manage global and territory leadership on a wide range of advice and counseling for labor law issues and investigations * Ability to translate complex, technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions * Ability to support stakeholders and leadership to build consensus on complex employment law and business issues * Ability to present labor law and related issues during large global meetings, trainings, and other presentations * Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive team and environment * Ability to advise stakeholders and leaders on a wide range of labor law and employment-related matters * Understanding of global issues and the ability to operate in a global business ## Pay Range For positions based in Albany (NY), California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Washington State, or Westchester County (NY), please visit the following link for pay range information: ***## Application All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at PwC without regard to race; creed; color; religion; national origin; sex; age; disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or expression; genetic predisposition or carrier status; veteran, marital, or citizenship status; or any other status protected by law.
