Tax - Practice Policy and Quality - Manager
The candidate will focus on developing a platform for growing the Tax Services Practice implementing best practices. Will work on substantive engagements and be involved in a broad variety of client issues and relationships. Work with tax professionals throughout the entire Firm, NTO, Legal, and PSG. Monitor and develop the quality of tax practices and compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Assist in the development and implementation of tax quality audit programs and professional training programs.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. CPA and/or J.D. degree is required. MT or LL.M. degree a plus. Must have strong tax research skills and familiarity with Circular 230, AICPA Statements on Standards for Tax Services and other AICPA and professional guidelines and rules as well as Sarbanes-Oxley. Should have ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
