SALT Sales and Use Associate
The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or business related field. Certified Public Accountant (or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure), Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar required. Must have 1+ year of experience. Should have working knowledge of general tax accounting and state and local tax laws. Must have working knowledge of non-state and local tax (SALT) project work. Proficient technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), strong analytical skills, general understanding of financial systems and sales tax compliance tools preferred.
