Commercial Lending / Transactional Attorney
The candidate will report to the Senior Vice President, Middle Market and Global Counsel. Will represent the Bank as a lender in commercial lending transactions. Manage legal work related to the Middle Market and Global Banking (US Banking and International) lending transactions for Bank. Prepare, draft, review and negotiate documentation relating to commercial lending transactions. Analyze and communicate the law as it relates to commercial lending practices and procedures. Provide legal advice to Bank officers and management. Work effectively with outside counsel.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Should be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan or eligible for admission without examination. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. Must have 6 years of experience as an attorney in banking/commercial lending matters, including secured transactions and syndicated loan transactions.
