A Fortune 100 Company seeks Home Office Counsel having 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. The candidate will perform comprehensive research and analysis of reported cases, statutes, regulations and other legal materials regarding issues often characterized by an absence of clear legal precedent and render clear and unambiguous legal opinions and advice as necessary. Draft and review legal documents (contracts, insurance policies, leases) involving substantial legal issues. Investigate, research, draft, negotiate, and appear on behalf of the company in litigation, and manage outside counsel in connection with litigation. Represent the company before regulatory and administrative bodies. Provide advice regarding the implications of new laws substantially impacting the company's business. Anticipate legal issues and encouraging practices to prevent problems from arising. The candidate should have completed law school with a J.D. or L.L.B. degree and admission to the Bar of at least one jurisdiction in the United States. Prior insurance coverage experience is preferred.
