Prominent Entertainment Organization seeks Corporate Counsel with 5-7 years of public company and/or law firm experience with focus in the business, finance, corporate, securities, transactional and public company areas including 2-3 years of corporate transactional experience. The candidate will provide legal support primarily to the company's finance, treasury and tax functions. Will report to the Senior SEC and Treasury Counsel. Prepare and review securities filings and participate in securities transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate financing and commercial agreements. Manage global corporate transactions involving the company's legal entities. Handle corporate governance matters. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required. Should preferably have experience managing paralegal staff. Experience managing legal and/or business matters with senior management teams of public companies preferred.
