Compliance Coordinator The candidate supports the success of all regulatory compliance activities and strategies by assisting with compliance and legal research, auditing company compliance activities, maintaining required regulatory paperwork, ensuring vendor compliance, monitoring deadlines and managing training databases. Under the direction of the Compliance Manager; gathers, researches, and prepares information needed to respond to internal and external operational and regulatory audits. Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and various department contacts. Assists with analyzing business processes to identify and measure risks and compliance gaps in operations. Analyzes and reports the results of compliance audit findings to the Compliance or Audit Managers. Assists with implementing plans to address any identified risks or compliance gaps as required, such as procedural or policy changes. Handles the complaint management process, including partnering with appropriate department managers and leaders on complaint investigation. Under guidance and approval of Compliance Manager, drafts all written complaint responses, and ensures responses are sent to the appropriate party, based on the complaint notification source. Maintains all state and federal licensing requirements for our programs and insurance administration. Administers and maintains contracts with outside business partners and vendors. Monitors appropriate compliance by business partners and vendors; collects any required documentation for ensuring compliance; maintains process for ensuring vendor compliance is current and meets requirements. Maintains policies and procedures repository/database. Assists Compliance Manager with compliance and legal research as necessary. Coordinates and maintains associate compliance training schedules, tracking and reporting. Works with management to identify and address training issues. Prepares presentations for delivery by Compliance and Audit Leadership. Upholds compliance department s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Remains current on federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and/or attending training opportunities. Performs other projects and responsibilities as required.

The candidate should preferable have BS or BA degree in business or related field. Paralegal or law degree preferred. Consumer regulatory related experience preferred. Should have 2- 3 years professional business experience. Should have excellent demonstrated written, verbal and business communications. Must have strong evidence of competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Should have demonstrated collaboration skills. Should have demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately using discretion and diplomacy. Must have evident familiarity with legal writings, interpretations, concepts and research. Demonstrated ability to examine facts with an eye of neutrality and prepare concise written reports and summaries regarding facts and recommended actions are needed.
