Production Planning & Control Manager Duties: Lead the Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC) team within the Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT) to implement Purchasing and Logistics strategies through their relationships with their assigned suppliers ensuring that they meet Rolls-Royce quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness requirements. Create, maintain and communicate detailed production plans of specific part orders that are commitment accepted to enable the master production plan to be achieved. Ensure development of competencies and core skills through education and shared learning Driving ERP compliance within the SCMT by effective management of lead indicators and that ensure that SAP data is maintained effectively. Coordinating the SCMT delivery information (eg. Delivery on Commitment (DOC) packs, engine clearance, spares clearance, day plans, etc.) and be a single point of contact in delivery escalation queries. Ensuring all suppliers within the SCMT have appropriate robust credible supply plans in place driven by customer requirements, aligned with: Feasible Load and Capacity, Input materials availability, and New Product Introduction/Product Change. Identifying supply chain risks, including quality issues, ensuring that mitigation action plans are in place and controlled by the relevant Supplier/SCMT for all hazards that have a potential to affect the SCMT's Suppliers delivery to Rolls-Royce customer. Ensuring all new products, product change and changes of source, are controlled, by the accountable resource, in line with the appropriate functions to achieve customer requirements. Holding relevant resources to account to ensure on time delivery from Supplier of Product (Re) Introduction (IPT Leaders, MEP, Buyer, SQE, Pre-prod MRPCs). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of supply chain, operations or manufacturing experience. Or Master's degree and 6+ years of supply chain, operations or manufacturing experience. Or a JD/PhD. Experience using an ERP system. Experience leading projects and cross functional teams. Logistics experience, to include material handling and storage methods and procedures.
