Life Sciences Consulting Senior Manager (New York) Duties: Assist partners in selling new business and independently develop new business by developing new clients as well as selling new business to existing clients. Responsible for ensuring that projects they manage or oversee are delivered with consistent high quality client deliverables. Actively manage large projects and provide leadership on smaller projects assisting project teams in shaping messages and analysis, managing client relationships, and developing the talents of our managers and consultants. The degree of hands on oversight is expected to vary based on the strength of the underlying consultant team and their ability to provide insight to clients and create high quality deliverables. Work with Partners to manage the Compliance Team, including areas of research to focus on, ways to capture knowledge that will be beneficial to our clients, always thinking about what s next in compliance . Provide mentorship to junior team members. Grow in health care compliance expertise, to become a go-to resource internally and for our clients. Write articles, blog posts, and speak at industry events. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; MBA, MHA, LLM or JD Degree in Health law or relevant field strongly preferred. 5+ years working experience, with a focus on health care compliance. Experience managing a team. Strong working knowledge of PhRMA and AdvaMed guidelines required; knowledge of other domestic and international compliance guidance preferred. High quality client interaction skills, with the ability to develop and maintain ongoing client relationships. Entrepreneur, independent worker, can operate effectively with a minimum of structure. Well organized, self-motivated, team player. Analytical, and quantitative. Creative and innovative; willingness to have a different opinion. Articulate; excellent oral and written communication skills.
