Policy Analyst The candidate will provide subject matter expertise (SME) and support to management and executives in the analysis, evaluation, and coordination of new and revised U.S. National Security and U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) policies. Monitor national security and IC policy trends, developments, and legal issues and apply, evaluate, and communicate resulting impacts to client equities. Provide recommendations on interpreting and drafting policies to support leadership decision-making responsibilities. Research and analyze relevant policies, regulations, legal authorities to contribute in the review, input, and/or the client s development of corporate and IC policies, procedural documentation, Executive Orders, guidance, and additional internal and external related products related to the client s national security/law enforcement mission.

Qualifications: Preferably a BA, BS, or a degree in a related-field. DESIRED: JD degree, from an accredited college or university. 3+ years of experience interpreting, analyzing, and applying U.S. National Security and USIC legal authorities. Experience working in a federal interagency environment, including collaboration with multiple U.S. government departments and agencies on joint programs. 3+ years national security and IC policy and evaluation work experience within the federal intelligence, defense, and/or law enforcement communities. Experience briefing executive-level audiences. Knowledge of laws, regulations, directives, and policies related to U.S. National Security and the USIC. Demonstrated skill in researching, analyzing, and preparing policy documents, analytical products, and briefing documents providing legally sound analysis and recommended courses of action. Experience supporting complex federal programs with frequent aggressive and/or competing deadlines. Superior ability to facilitate communication and coordination among federal partners, organizations, and working groups to support the FBI s participation in the IC policy process. Superior ability to self-start and take initiative with minimal support or guidance. Demonstrated outstanding attention to detail. Skill using all MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. Maintains professional demeanor at all times regardless of the circumstances.
